Dr. B.S.Dhaliwal Principal GGSCET has done his M.Tech. & Ph.D from IIT Kharagpur. His specialization is Digital communication. He is fellow of “Institute of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering & Institute of Engineers” (India). He has served as an officer in EME Technical branch of Army for 26 years. Principal has 8 year R&D experience and 16 years teaching experience.

Principal’s Message

Future of any nation depends how the young generation is being groomed. All though training of youth is important in all fields but technical fields assume more importance in present era. Our budding engineers have to come up to the expectations of global market. It means we require excellent academic infrastructure and high caliber teachers for teaching. This is what Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering & Technology, run by “Balaji Educational Trust” provides. The college is situated in a pollution-free lush green sacred land of ‘Damdama Sahib’.
In addition to covering of university curriculum, the emphasis is also on guest lectures by experts on various subjects. Class rooms are equipped with latest teaching aids such as LCD Projectors etc.
Well stocked library and round the clock internet facilities are available. Students are encouraged to arrange workshops and seminars and also to attend to such type of activities in other colleges. Emphasis is also given to improve communication skills and personality development of students. To improve team work and health of students, the college provides facilities for out-door and in-door games including gymnasium. There is well established ‘Training & Placement Cell’ at the college. Campus placement record of the college is excellent. I invite the young ones, who want to choose engineering as career to join us at ‘GGSCET’.
