Eligibility Criteria
Candidate will be eligible for admission to B.E./B.Tech. Courses, if he/She fulfils the following conditions:
- For admission to 1st year of engg. courses: The candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects:
Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science
In addition to this, the candidates are required to pass in English also.
For Lateral entry, directly to 2nd year: Those candidates, who have passed their 10th or 10+2 examination with science stream with aforesaid subjects and have passed diploma in any Engineering Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education.
- He/She possesses a good moral character.
- He/She fulfils the conditions mentioned in the Punjab Govt. notification incorporated in the Brochure.
- He/She fulfils the requirements laid down by the University/ Institution to which he/She is seeking admission.
- He/She is a citizen of India
All other general eligibility criteria are as per Memo No. 35/44/951T(2)/978 dated 21.03.2003 of the State Govt. of Punjab. |
